Living Medicine LIVE Zoom - Conscious Birth and Your Birth Story with Susan Highsmith PhD

Every life begins with a story, and that first story lives on in us long after the moment of birth. Dr. Gladys championed birth as a sacred, conscious passage, welcoming fathers into the delivery room and honoring the wisdom of mother and baby alike. This month, we continue that conversation with Susan Highsmith, PhD, moderated by Living Medicine LIVE host Dr. Arlene Dijamco.

Susan is a prenatal and perinatal psychologist, counselor, and author of The Renaissance of Birth: Changing the Language of Childbirth. She earned her doctorate at 62, and her own early journey into motherhood became the heart of her life's work. Today, as an octogenarian educator, she brings together psychology and spiritual wisdom to help people of every age understand how our earliest experiences shape us.

Together, we'll explore what conscious birth looks like, how the language we use around childbirth shapes the experience, and how revisiting your own birth story can open a path to understanding, compassion, and healing at any stage of life.

This gathering is free to attend live. Registrants receive the recording for a limited time afterward, and Basic Members enjoy ongoing access through the Living Medicine Library.

Together, Be Glad ❤️
